Done for :iconphantom-of-da-opera:'s Superhero contest.

Erik does know that opera house like the back of his hand, upside down and sideways. I always thought there was something beautiful about the kiss in Spiderman, and this was a great opportunity to give it some Phantom love.

EDIT: I was quite surprised to earn Runner Up in this contest. There were lots of great entries! :dance:

That was the goal. :) The contest is supposed to combine superheros and Phantom. I'm glad it came across.

On a side note--Your painting appears to be improving, though it's still a bit streaky in the face and back of Christine (not brush-stroke streaky, but lack-of-blending streaky, if that makes sense), if you're going for a brush-stroke look, you need to use some kind of textured brush and vary the strokes a little.

Everyone's hair looks really great! <3

Well done! I had sort of low expectations for this contest theme, but this is a great combination of PotO with Super Heroes. It's a really good image, and it also makes sense, what with Erik always creeping around and being sort of spidery.
(also, Spider-Man's my favourite super hero. :giggle:)

The main thing that jumps out at me as far as critique, is that Christine's fingers look to me to be just a bit short. And maybe her neck should taper a bit more towards the top. :hmm: That's me being nitpicky, though.
Their hair is just excellent!

Awesome! Spider!Erik is win, and this picture is so pretty... I saw it in the thumbnail and was like "Is that a Phantom...? IT IS! WOOT!"

So cool, hun. Kudos to you for sticking with the painting technique too!
